Spring Court

Since Alfheim's Begining, the Continent of Niflheim was split into two unfathomably different states, to the north beyond the mountains lay a perpetural Winter resembling the contients Origins as the land of the frozen mists. To the South However, beyond the mists, lay a much greener world of vast plains unlike anything the Elves knew of. Called by the thrill of the unknown, many fae would brave the uncertainty of the mists, what awaited them was a fleeting fairyland resembling that of the tales Patchwork read to them as Children, and equally as dangerous. Despite this, it wasn't until the last remaining years of the Age of Gods that the mist was conquerered and a major governing power was established, though many had tried, all that remains are ruins and questions, consumed by the land itself.   Founded under the banner of Ulster's Hound, the Wild Man Kumagera's newly born spring court had expanded like weeds, rapidlly becoming the largest of the four courts in as little as a few years. While this expansion was nothing short of prosperous for it's people, it became abundantly clear that Lord Kumagera's experience on the battlefield didn't translate into diplomacy, To rectify this, Kumagera began slowly pushing his royal duties off towards trustworthy generals, advisors and other warriors, granting them portions of the court to rule over to make his job easier, eventually Kumagera would pass the crown's burden to his more, intellectually inclined children in order to devote himself fully to the frontlines. It was from these acts that gave birth to the Daimyo/Psuedo-Archfae system of nobles that guide the states of the Spring Court to this day.   The Modern day Spring Court has enjoyed a (relative) golden age of prosperity and peace in the centuries as of late, prefering to keep to themselves to avoid conflict, in spite of this percieved pacifism, the warior culture that the birthed and spread the nation still persists in spirit, becoming the building blocks for the nations traditions practiced today. For example, the "samurai" to this day is still a prestigious position of honor and notierty that many in the court aspire to become, serving as the kingdom's prime peacekeeping force akin to adventurers or paladins in other countries. The samurai's code of ehtics or "Bushido" (as Archives notes on the old world state) is taught in all of the branching academies, consequently, no two academy regimines are the same, each school speacilizes in one of the many skills a samurai can speacilize in, including: Swordplay, unarmored combat, Archery, Cavalry, tactics, Martial Artistry, Spearmanship, War Magic, Bladesinging, Caligraphy, and as of recently, Firearms.
