Those who they feared; individuals blessed with gifts beyond humanity; they demonized, alienated as 'monsters'. Their slanderous lies serve only to deceive the commonfolk, rallying them behind their true enemy. Their bloodlusting mercenaries are hailed as heroes in the great halls where nobility drink from the labors of their subordinates like leeches. Their reign of terror ends nigh.
