Mirdur
A large amount of dwarven tradition is deemed to sensitive to write down, knowledge dangerous in the wrong hands or only for those worthy of recieving it. These traditions are mostly passed down orally but after his father's death without him being able to share his knowledge Mirdur wished to change this. He sought out many facets of knowledge and wrote it down in great books. To protect the knowledge held within he then enchanted them with the will of the ancestestors. Allowing them to choice if one is worthy of recieving the books knowledge. He then passed throughout all the dwarven holds and compiled a great amount of wisdom in tomes for those holds. These are now great artifacts of the holds only used when absolutly necesairy.
The cult of Mirdur serve as keepers of knowledge within a hold still keeping to a mostly oral tradition. Only when necisiairy do they put words to paper and whenever they do it is added to one of the great books.
