Menard

LN, The one who toils

Menard used to be an elf capture in war and forced into servitude. After hundreds of years in servitude Menard became accepting of his life and started finding purpose in it. To the point where Menard was given multiple opportunities to escape and refused. This continued till one day Sol  descended down from the heavens with a new task for Menard. He would fulfil this all important duty of eternal toil and in exchange be granted godhood. Menard refused stating his current duty was not jet fulfilled and accepted once his former master shocked by the appearance of the god agreed to give Menard away. 
Now Menard toils for all eternity in some unknown place for a task he does not know. Yet he does it as it was a duty given to him.
