Gnomes
Having come from the moon the souls of Gnomes are drawn to its great white expanse. When a Gnome dies and the corpse is exposed to moonlight it's soul will immediatly leave its body and return to the moon where it combined with other souls and raw quintecence to produce a new Fey. Those Gnomes who wish to be judged by Muran must make sure they remain without contact to moonlight for two weeks after dying or seek the aid of a Priest of Muran.

Culture and Cultural Heritage
On The Moon Gnomes where verry low on the food chain. Because of this they grew a culture of trying to apease there overlords that has stuck with them to this day. Common Gnome wisdom is that you should try to find a safe place to live and avoid conflict there at all cost by working dilegently and always being verry social. If a fight can be stopped by apologizing for something you didn't do, that's better than getting beat up.
The funeral's of Gnomes are verry important to them and differ per gnome. Those who wish to repent or trully belive they lived a virtuas live usualy take extra care to tell there loved onces they would like there soul to go to Muran. Most other gnomes which for there soul to be absorbed by the moon out of fear of eternal torment due to the judgment of Muran. The common burrial rite in this case is to treat the body to prevent some decomposure and treat the smell. It is then left outside every night for two weeks or until the moon can be seen with a clear sky. Durring the end of the two weeks or when the moon can be seen trough a clear sky the body is burned to help release the soul from the body so it may go towards the moon.
The paranoia of Gnomes that that wished to be judged my Muran usualy leads them to, once old, avoid going outside at night and sometimes even end there own life to ensure they die in the propper place.
History
Gnomes once originated from The Moon. At some point during a peculiar lunar orbit there ancestors quite litteraly jumped off of the moon's surface and unto Briar. Being verry charismatic in nature they quickly got allong with most of the locals and decided to mostly stay out of the conflict between Human's and others. Durring the Age of Tragodiawhen the Empire came to there residences they would usualy side with the Empire and try to intergrate into it in order to avoid conflict.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Gnomes tend to get allong well with most other species though some like Orcs will never trully treat them as equals ass they see the Gnomes as spineless.
