Chevalier Martyre

Chevalier Martyre was a famous knight in service of the king who first layed its hands on The Immortal Grail. For his great services for the king he was allowed to drink from the grail and gained immortality. However as time passed he was forced into more and more brutal battles in service of protecting the grail. Eventualy Martyre realized that the grail would only begget more violence for it was to tempting of a power. So he decided to take great sins upon himself in service of others. He brought the king near death but was unable to slay him so he kept him in a torterous prison most gruesome and started to adorn the walls of the palace with the corpes of those slain in search for the grail there bodies rotting yet undying. He ended up commiting great attrocities with the goal of scarring away any seekers of the grail and violence they brought. And whilst he commited great atrocities it was all in service of a greater good and he did not once raise his blade when not needed to. Trough this path he achieved godhood and inspires others to take all of lives evils upon themselves in order to save those around them.
