History
The history of Barun-Al'dur has mostly been carried over from oral traddition and the few text that did survive where written in old old dwarvish with words lost to time. Long ago durring the war between the the Dragons and and the Dwarves Barun was a warrior of great skill and knowledge, a renowned spellblade. He was chosen for a most sacred duty to defend the mountain sky, a starless of pure blackness that would one day be empty of even the dragons that roamed it (The running theory is that this referes to the black ceilings of the mountain holds). To this end he ascened towards the mountain sky and become its protector, so that even when it disapears from the eye, it will be save until needed.
