Origin
The patron god of Solstrum. Atlus was once a mortal who roamed the planet, Being born in a starving mountain village the world was laid on top of him having been born with fiery eyes the mark of Sol the entire village pushed their hopes and desires onto him. Even as a child Atlus did not shy away from his responsibility. He accepted every offering brought to him and trained to be stronger and stronger. Although the boy had the mark of Sol he had no Divine aptitude whatsoever. Yet through sheer strength and dedication he would help. When there was a disaster he could not stop it but he would pick up every brick and every stone and put every house back together again. He would traverse every mountain, fight every beast to procure any medicine needed. When there was drought he could not make the crops magically grow but he would tilt the fields and then carve out mountains for more and more land he could tilt. The boy over and over again overcame the impossible and helped raise his village out of squalor into greatness. People from far and wide would come to Atlus expecting the impossible. Time and Time again Atlus would disappoint them stating that he had no divine power to fix this problem yet after that he would break mountains and find a way to cure their woes regardless. Eventually even the god Sol himself took notice who came down to Atlus and offered to take away the burden that had been placed on him. Yet Atlus refused. Though a heavy burden he would carry it no matter what was asked even if asked by the gods themself. Sol left without a word but in his stead Asurum appeared. Asurum tasked Atlus with killing the great demon that resided in the heart of Troïka. This was done as an insult to Atlus for deigning to talk to the gods since Atlus couldn’t possibly kill a demon lord. Yet Atlus set out and whilst missed by his followers for 10 years straight he battled the monsters in the heart of Troïka ending with the demon lord Beluga breaking into the mortal realm once more and clouding the world into darkness. However over 10 days small signs of light would break through after which for 10 hours light shone from the sky brighter than ever before as Atlus had followed Beluga into the sky and after battling him for 10 hours and 10 days he had defeated the demon lord with his own mortal hands. This event was of such great renown that Sol once again descended to earth. Impressed that he could defeat the demon lord Beluga and saved his precious creation, Sol offered to make Atlus, who already had Sol’s blood in his veins, his son. Atlus accepted and became a Demigod The home village of Atlus later bloomed into the capital of the Tragodian empire and later the Solstrum principality. As such whilst officially the Solstrum principality worships Sol first and foremost Atlus is still by many considered its patron deity.
