Acid Dew

This is a carnivorous plant, with small yellowish flowers atop long stems, growing from a base of clover-shaped leaves. The flowers emit an aromatic that draws small insects to them, while the sticky acid on its petals trap and disolve them over a few hours. The acid has uses as a powerful acid when concentrated, as well as having great curative properties once diluted. If a creature touches these petals without protection, they must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw, taking 1d10 acid damage on a failure, or half as much on a success.

    This plant is devoid of flowers, but has long stems with whorls of small, light green seeds that grow along its top. These seeds are often eated by birds or small mammals, but when crushed, they relese an intoxicating smell, one which is said to draw even the gods and tempt them to drink of an elixir made from this plant.

    This is a plant that grows in small bunches, usually from between small clefts in cliffsides or from between rock-strewn ground. It has small red flowers with yellow throats. The flowers can be used to brew various potions relating to fire and heat. If the leaves are ingested, they deal 1d4 fire damage.

    Angel's Trumpet

    This small bush produces never reaches above two feet tall, but some of its branches produce an exquisite flower of tender whiteness. These flowers grow downward, with the tips changing hues to yellows, reds, or pinks, or most commonly, purple, and fan out to make a rought, trumpet shape. As beautiful as it looks, it is also quite dangerous. A creature that directly inhales the scent must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or be dazed for 1 minute; this characteristic has been used poisons to paralyze targets or make slaves more docile. Because of this confusion-inducing effect, many dangerous predeitors hide around clumps of these plants, and take advantage of prey that wanders too close to it.

    This tiny herb usually grows in bunches atop rocks and latches onto small cracks with its roots. It has light green leaves and steps and its flowers are different colors depending on the environment its found it: if in the arctic, its petals are usually white or grey, if on the coasts, its petals are usually light blue, and if in swamps, its petals are usually light pink or yellow.

    Baneberry Trees

    These large, low bushes form clusters of small, densly packed red and white berries without ever flowering. When cut open, these berries form a six-pronged star on the inside. Though they taste delicious, they are toxic to younger children and the extremely old, killing the very smallest or weakest. Because they grow on the outskirts of cities and towns, these trees kills a couple dozen of youth each year.

    Blackcap Mushroom

    This beautiful bluish-black, cup-shaped mushroom has an extremely unique defense mechanism. If a creature touches or even moves past it, it will release a small cloud of noxious spores. Each creature within 5 feet of it must make a DC 18 Constitution saving throw, taking 1d10 poison damage and be poisoned for 1d4 hours on a failure, or only take half damage on a success. The only way to harves these is to down into the soil and cut the roots, immobilizing the mushroom.

If a creature eats one of these mushrooms, they must make a DC 16 Constitution saving throw, becoming poisoned for 8 hours and suffering the effects of the confusion for the same duration on a failure, or only being poisoned for 1 hour on a success.
