Trilobite Tidepool in BREACH | World Anvil

Trilobite Tidepool

Trilobite Tidepool (1/1/2023) A rocky promontory a half mile long, surrounded by turbulent seas, and overshadowed by a smoking volcano less than half a mile north. Temperature was 110F, the air was just barely breathable for short periods. The most obvious feature of interest was a set of tidal pools, each holding many species of Cambrian life. Despite this causing great excitements among dendribiologists, the harsh conditions (a fully sealed shelter would be needed for any long-term work), the likelihood of imminent eruption, and the lack of any larger, more stable point on which to build a base led to this breach being bypassed as a target more in-depth exploration.
