Gloots

Please don't ask me to draw one of these... This would be like asking to draw wind and rain at the same time... Gloots really are wierd creatures. They dwell in darkness, lurk in the shadows and in the darkest nights. They were made by an Elemental, that's for sure, because their almost immaterial body, made of trapped raindrops in a mobile shape of condensed air, is nothing close to any fauna or flora in this world. They just seem to float around, but beware, for they are quite aggressive towards lone travelers who wander on their territory.

Ecology and Habitats

Gloots live in the dark. They hide from the light in forests and caves, and roam the mountains and plains when comes the night. The polar regions are their kingdom in winter. Gloots are predators. They prey upon other magical creatures like Gooloos, sylves or golems, feeding on their magical essence and leaving behind the material body, empty of life and energy. People say that they also attack Magissens when hungry. They live alone in their respective territories, and often fight with each other for control over hunting grounds.
