I have seen only two elementals in my whole life. I spent decades trying to see one. I gathered tales, claims, and I spent weeks and months in th emost remote places of this world. It took me thirty-five years to finally have a grasp of one of them. And heavens, was I lucky! Not only did i see one, but two of them, at the same time, and at the same place !
As you all believe, elementals take the texture and matter of what surrounds them. And in the center of the Golden Sea where I was at that time, were those two giant beings, forming two immense bodies of sand and rock.
And they began to fight. I can't explain why, but it seems that two of them cannot cohabitate. As if they had to destroy each other. They hit themselves so hard, I could see the immense magical power flashing around them. The duel lasted for hours. I recieved pieces of sand, gravel, that flew over my head as I feared for my life.
And when they destroyed each other enough that they could not fight anymore, they left. Each one of them walked away from the other with difficulty, and they vanished in the air. I passed out shortly after.
[...] Elementals seem to appear in the least populated areas. They are unpredictable, and to me, they are the most powerful beings of Boomal. For what I understand of magic, I believe that they follow the magic winds, unless they are the very source of them.
