XIndi - Avians
Originally believed a Extinct species but was rediscovered by the crew of the NAR Linnaeus on the planet Ba Zsecr in the Shackleton Expanse where they had been living with another species called the Doradin. They both had brought themselves to extinction with the exception of several who wher put into stasis along side hundreds of eggs from both species.

Conservation Status
After the bodies and eggs of the species were found, the responsibility of their re population was passes on to the XIndi Council by the crew of NAR Linnaeus.
After a consultation it was decided that it was best for the NAR Speedwell and several of its passengers who where creating a new colony would be in charge of there repopulating.
