Diboridium

Diboridium is an element commonly used by Cardassians to construct radio frequency, solar, and piezoelectric power cores. These power cores can operate for decades even in miniaturized form and can be seen throughout Cardassian design, ranging from small handheld devices to redundant power system construction aboard their vessels and starbases. It is rare to find diboridium, and hence is a good commodity for trade or construction of long-lasting power cells.
