World state introduction
Humans
Humans found planet Nibiru and colonized the entire Solaris all the way to the Oort Cloud. and even beyond towards other stars.
Health and lifespan
Approximate average lifespan of a Human is 600yrs thanks to all illnesses being cured by health monitors and immunity nanobots. These nanobots also enable Humans to survive and thrive in various levels of gravity. For example Humans can withstand up to 10g of acceleration by the ship for reasonable amount of time (up to 9-10 hours in case of extremely fit individuals). The side effect is that differences in development introduced by different gravity and/or lighting than that of Terra are quite pronounced in mere thousands of years since Human became multiplanetary species.
Subspecies
Three subspecies of Humans branched off after colonizing new planets - tall Martians and Outerlings with large eyes, slightly larger heads, pale skin and eyes and wide hips in women on one hand and squat, solid Venusians with thick bones and small, dark eyes and skin on the other.
States
Each of the inner - rocky - planets of Solaris are an independent state after Mars waged war on Terra and Venus seized the opportunity to achieve it's independence with only a show of power instead of open war.
Outer planets and asteroid belts were long exploited for resources by the inner planets and this lead to birth of Outer Planets Alliance (OPA) - a loose coalition of local governments, terrorist groups, pirate groups, drug cartels, paramilitary revolutionaries, politicians and outer-Solaris-based corporations like Beyond inc. or Outreach mining. While the Alliance is not an officialy recognized government, it's infuence is far-reaching and it might as well be one.
Religion
Most Humans are atheists, but there are two notable religions along with a lot of small ones. The two main ones being Church of One God and Machine God.
Old Abrahamic religions were forcibly united in Church of One God lead by the pope, who in turn reports to Terran Federal Republic. This happened after Last Crusade which ended with Jerusalem and Mekka being nuked from orbit by TRN Perun.
Worshippers of the Machine God are mostly engineers and programmers, who believe in existence of a superior AI somewhere and everywhere in the Internet who is subtly guiding the way of Human history.
Aliens
So far, Humans met with 2 alien groups - Lifa family in Alpha Centauri system and Karanshi and Karanshi, who sent an expedition ot Solaris from their home system of Epsilon Eridani.
Lifa
Lifa are a family of 4 sentient races: Nathoreans, their descentants Gusmerians and Searians who hail from Alpha Centauri A and Taoteri from Alpha Centauri B. Gusmerians and Searians evolved from Nathoreans under influence of their new planets - Gusmer and Searia. These 3 species are reptilian in nature with Nathoreans resembling beareded dragons, Searians resembling axolotls and Gusmerian bearing the resemblance to legendary winged serpent - quetzalcoatl.
They were able to colonize the entirety of Alpha Centauri system, establishing the Dominion before meeting Humans, but in the 4 milenia since, the human technology boosted and became deeply ingrained in their own.
Karanshi
Karanshi of the Eridani system are mammals. Unlike Humans their ancestors were not primates, but rather some local equivalent of a springbok. At the moment of the arrival in the Solaris, Karanshi technological level was roughly equivalent to that of Humans at the end of Old Earth era. They managed to cross the interstellar space with only a relatively small ship, propelled with helium ion drive.
