Night City Area Rapid Transport
The Night City Area Rapid Transport system, operated by a corporation by the same name, is responsible for all public transport in Night City. Due to the high risk associated with walking in parts of the city, the NCART metro and busses are the commute of choice for much of the population.
The metro services all major areas with frequent departures during the weekdays and plenty the rest of the time. It is fully autonomous surveiled by multiple cameras — often the most well maintained part of the trains. Tickets are sold through vending machines at every station and scanned to get access to the train platform. Most who live in Night City purchase either monthly cards or ones that can be swiped multiple times for a set number of travels.
Busses service the perimiter of the city as well as the various locations nearby. Armored busses travel through, but doesn't stop in, Pacifica and the Northside Industrial District. There are bus stops there but they're not in regular use unless NCART are paid handomsely.
