Zodiacal Tar is one of the more unusual and esoteric substances that can be found in the Land of the Dead. It is a dark, viscous, tar-like fluid that seems to contain star-like points of light and a faint nebulosity akin to what can be observed inside a Tartarean Rift. Some astrologers utilise the substance as a substitute for a Tartarean Rift when casting their Deep Zodiacs, though their results always seem to be distorted slightly by refraction across its curved surface.
