Flayed One

Vampires who are unfortunate enough to become inflicted by the dreaded Flayer's Pox lead a far more tortured existence than others do. The deathlessness conferred by the Vampirism curse prevents the compulsive scratching and necrosis of exposed tissues from killing them, and so they shamble through the Land of the Dead in a mindless quest for any relief from their maddening phantom itching.
