The black, lightless sun, Anthelios has usurped the place in the Land of the Dead's fragmented skies that its rightful sun once held. Only the ancient Titans still remember a time before Anthelios ruled the skies.
It is uncertain if Anthelios orbits the Land of the Dead, or if it is the other way around. The topic is one of fierce debate, and fights regularly break out among the Souls who dedicate their existence to philosophy or studying theDeep Zodiacs. No distance to Anthelios can be determined, as the sun's black light casts no shadows across the Land that could be used to determine paralax.
