Order of the Sun "the Order"

Order of the Sun or just The Order is an Vampic Hermetic secret society originally established by Queen Anne (The former Prince of London) in the 16th Century. It was formed from numerous secret British societies. By modern times, the head of the Order was Katherine Marlowe. Its purpose was to control Britain's enemies through espionage, deception, and fear. Its ultimate goal was to find mythical locations such as Iram of the Pillars and Eldorado.
Members theorizes that Queen Anne forged the Order from a number of secretive groups like the School of Night, the Hellfire Club, and the Order of the Golden Dawn. It is unclear as to whether she established the Order purely to find Ubar or to search for all occult and historical items of significance.
However, she used her extensive network, to utilized the accumulated occult knowledge of the Order to search for clues to the location of places like Iram of the Pillar and Eldorado.
In modern times it is a secret and exclusive order, adopting its traditions and practice from antient Roman, Greek and Egyptian lore. It is an order of knowledge and mysticism, and fund numerous expeditions around the world. It is a two faced order, the outer circles, consisting of mortals gouls, and the inner circles, consisting of Vampires. It has always been an small Order, but over the last ten years, the Order has seen considerable increase, and new temples has been established around the world, though mostly in England and North America. The head of the order is located in London, although the largest temple is in Edinburgh. The three oldest temples are in London, Edinburgh and Boston.
