Personal history

Taylor spent the first years of her life in comfort, as her father was Lord of Cornfield and received the proper care a young noblewoman was due. All that changed after the Great Blackfyre Rebellion her mother took her own life after receiving the news that her sons died fighting, and after hearing that he lost Cornfield, Ser Forley took his daughter, his most loyal soldiers and fled.
After that Taylor was raised in secrecy by one of her father's knights, Ser Addam Hill, and taught to fight by him, despite her initial refusal to do so, once the news of the Mad Clucker's demise at the hands of Lord Jaime Lannister reached her, the focus for her training and fighting shifted to taking revenge upon the Lord of Casterly Rock. 
During the Coronation tourney for King Aemon I Blackfyre Taylor competed as a mystery knight with the moniker of "Knight of the Bloody Rooster" given the shield she bore, her original intention was to ride against and defeat Lord Jaime Lannister, but those hopes were dashed when the Lord of Casterly Rock was unhorsed by a different contestant before they had the opportunity to face each other, she nonetheless remained in the competition and went on to win the tourney and with it the grand prize: the Valyrian Steel sword Nightfall. For the skill displayed in the tourney, shortly after the tourney Taylor was offered the position of sworn shield to the King's wife, Queen Calla Blackfyre, a proposal she eagerly accepted.
During the attack against the royal family in the wedding feast for the weddings of Prince Haegon and lady Briella Mallister and Prince Lucerys and lady Tristina Peake, Swyft succesfully defended the queen from multiple assailants, despite taking several wounds in the course of the night.

Employment

Taylor is the Queen's sworn shield, acting as her bodyguard even in places where the presence of a man would not be seen with good eyes. Swyft also cooperates with the members of the Kingsguard in keeping the queen and her children safe.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Taylor won the coronation tourney of King Aemon I Blackfyre unhorsing several experienced jousters, winning not only the Valyrian steel sword Nightfall, but the opportunity to serve queen Calla as her bodyguard.
During the attempted assassination of the nobles at the feast celebrating the wedding of Princes Haegon and Lucerys, Taylor took several wounds while protecting the queen from three corrupt goldcloaks.

Family Ties

Given the divisive nature of her father and the fact she spent the great majority of her life away from Cornfield, Taylor has a cold and distant relationship to her last remaining relatives.

Social Aptitude

She is a notoriously hard person to get along with, her sense of humour being usually geared towards mocking others and possessing a very conflict seeking nature, consequently she has very few friends other than her employer and her sword.
