Beast Lords
The deities of the animals. They are more ancient than most gods, and though associated with Feriea, some scholars view them as being more primordial than divine. Almost every species has a lord associated with them, some are more powerful than others. Some of the most notable of the Beast Lords are Catchtap the Cat Lord, Kaves the Bird Lord, and Cayn the Wolf Lord.
Unlike most deities, the Beast Lords are almost always present on the Material Plane, usually inhabiting one of their followers. They almost never interact with anything outside of their own domain, though in extreme times when danger to the entire material plane, they have been known to hold what are referred to as Beast Councils where they all will meet and decide on a course of action. These are extremely rare and are only held once every era it seems like.
