N’laive “Ladybird” Hogsworthy

N’Laive is the only child of Devon Hogsworthy, a human professor specializing in historical Elven/Dwarven relations, and E’rnya Qifi’na, an elven chef and dressmaker. She was raised in the large college town of Sinotigoc. Mentored by the finest minds, she soon discovered her skill of magic based on knowledge of the natural world. At 16, she started skipping classes in stuffy rooms to explore the local green parks to practice her nature based magic. Seeing this, E’rnya pushed Devon to accept a posting from FEx-Corps looking for an Elven expert to help decipher ancient Elven ruins found on a distant planet. Less than pleased at the idea, but succumbing to his wife and daughter’s entreaties, the professor agreed, packed up his family, and moved them out to Python. He continues to write papers and books on Elf/Dwarf political interactions, but has started to focus more on the local ancient artifacts making their way to his office.
While out on a forest jaunt, N’Laive met Wagner and the two became fast friends. It took some time, but Wags eventually let himself become a willing test subject for Ladybird’s magic, especially the healing kind. The squirrel magic, less so.
She stills feels a bit like a stranger in town, and tales of the fey and wilds beyond the town wards had her itching for adventure again. With her parents’ blessing, she joined the DNR with Wags as a way to get out into the wild world. She tries her best to follow her father’s request that any artifacts she finds be brought to him (preferably intact) for documentation.
