Healing, Lethal Damage, and Fatigue

After-battle healing: The party heals up to full after an hour’s rest, not 10 minutes. Otherwise healing works the same as in the base game.

Lethal damage rules will be used, but will be used sparingly. Be wary of venom, poison, disease, and magical curses - the nastier versions will inflict lethal damage. However, you can assume that most non-tainted wounds taken during combat can be healed via normal magical means. Bosses and assassins may be an exception to this, but such cases will be few and far between.

Battle Fatigue: Even with magical healing, the body just can’t quite fully recover after it takes enough of a beating. For every full multiplier of your maximum hit points you have taken in damage since you last took a full night's rest, you gain 1 level of the Fatigued bane. Lethal damage DOES impact the calculation of how many levels of Battle Fatigue you gain, as it lowers your maximum hit points. Any new levels of Fatigue are applied at the end of the current combat, not during it. If this causes you to reach Fatigue 6, you do not drop dead, you just fall into a coma for the next (6d12) hours.

Battle Fatigue cannot be removed except via a powerful alchemical concoction sold in town, or by getting a full night's rest. Each night's rest removes 1 level of Battle Fatigue and resets your damage taken for the day; a full day's bed rest removes 4 levels, and the alchemical concoction removes all levels.
