Druids of Note

Khelarion Duskseer, Grand Druid

Khelarion Duskseer is the Grand Druid, standing above the individual teachers of the druidic orders. He is the last true keeper of ancient wisdom, a guide to all druids, and a living relic of a time when the old ways thrived. He has walked the deep forests, spoken with the eldest trees, and meditated upon the cycle of nature for centuries. He has no students—only those who seek his wisdom.
"The world has forgotten what it once was, but the roots remember."
Though he acknowledges the need for the Orders, he does not bind himself to any one of them. Instead, he serves as the bridge between all paths, ensuring that the wisdom of nature is neither lost nor corrupted. It is said that when the old kingdoms fell, Duskseer did not mourn—he simply waited, knowing nature would reclaim all in time.

The Masters of the Orders

Though Duskseer serves as the Grand Druid, the day-to-day teachings and traditions are upheld by the Masters of the Four Orders, each devoted to a different aspect of nature.

Order of the Tree (Nature Undivided)

Master Druid: Vaerith Thornveil, Protector of the Hidden Grove A scarred warrior-druid, standing vigil where the wilds meet the ruins of elvish civilization. He sees himself as a guardian of balance, ensuring that neither civilization nor nature overtakes the other.   Assistants:
  • Nimara Leafwhisper, Voice of the Living Wood – A gentle but firm emissary between the forests and the mortal realms.
  • Orlaith Deepbranch, Guardian of the Worldroot – Said to have walked beneath the earth to touch the roots of the first trees.

Order of the Moon and Stars (Celestial Rhythms, Foresight, Balance of Night and Day)

Master Druid: Elunaeth Starbough, Watcher of the Tides of Time A silver-haired elf who wears the constellations in her eyes, Elunaeth has foreseen both the fall and possible renewal of the old ways. Some say she exists in multiple times at once, her mind drifting between past, present, and future.   Assistants:
  • Sylwen Moonveil, Seer of the Eclipse – A quiet mystic who can divine fate by reading the movement of celestial bodies.
  • Varion Duskrunner, Keeper of Twilight’s Path – A wandering druid who ensures that lost souls find their way under the night sky.

Order of the Beasts (The Wild Lords, Shapechangers, Bonded to Nature’s Fury)

Master Druid: Kaelthorn Wildheart, Feral Lord of the Untamed A towering elf with a mane of tangled hair, Kaelthorn is more beast than elf, his body bearing the marks of countless transformations. He believes civilization is a cage, and only those who embrace the wild truly understand the world's heartbeat.   Assistants:
  • Thalwyn Fangshade, Whisperer of the Great Wolves – A wolf-bonded druid who speaks to the pack more fluently than he does to people.
  • Serila Brighthoof, Daughter of the Roaring Plains – A centaur-raised druid, swift as the wind and fierce as the stampede.

Order of the Unending Cycle (Death, Decay, and Renewal – Possibly Linked to Insects & the Natural Order of Passing)

Master Druid: Myxathra Hollowroot, Keeper of the Verdant Grave A ghostly presence, wreathed in crawling vines and buzzing insects, Myxathra is spoken of in whispers even among druids. She understands that all things must rot before they can be reborn, and she does not fear the decay that others shy from.   Assistants:
  • Veylith Bonebloom, Caretaker of the Wilted Garden – Tends to sacred groves where trees grow from the bodies of the fallen.
  • Torven Miregloom, Warden of the Swamp's Hunger – Watches over the bogs and marshes, where life and death are one and the same.

The Grand Druid's Place in the World

Though Duskseer rarely intervenes in the affairs of mortals, those who seek him out often find themselves changed by the encounter. Some say he is more myth than man, that he exists only when the world needs him. Others whisper that he is waiting for something—perhaps for a sign that the old ways are ready to rise again.
"You do not call upon the storm; you prepare for when it comes."
