Background

Little is known of Talwart’s motives or his background. What little has been revealed exposes him as the leader of The Circle of Dragons cult. What is certain, Talwart and his followers mean ill on the freefolk and their alliance with the Easterlings foretells dark tidings.

Unknown, as of yet, no one has spoken to Talwart directly.

Allies & Associates

The Circle of Dragons are obsessed with resurrecting the ancient dragons of times gone by. Smaug was their first attempt, hoping to raise the fire drake from the dead and thereby control him for their own ends. Beyond this, their next target is the tomb of Scatha, a long deceased Blue Cold Drake. Talwart and his clan also have an uneasy alliance (or truce?) with Balcoth and his Easterling army heading north. While it is known that the two factions have been working together, it is also apparent they possibly do not have the same objectives, and therefore may not stand together forever.
