The Lost Age

While most humans believe that the Age of Divinity was followed directly by the Age of Magic, some more long-lived peoples and a few human scholars now better. Scattered in the world are traces of an age in between, old ruins and almost undecipherable runes, legends of gods that came before the Pantheon, magic older than anyone who'd still now how to cast it.
