Old Gods

Old fairytales tell of three gods that came before those gods we know today: The god of beasts, the god of monsters and the god of men. Some say they made our gods before they vanished from this world, or that they created the rulers of the Age of Magic and without them, those powerful beings lived on borrowed time. Their names are forgotten, the language in which their stories were written is not spoken by anyone anymore. But, if the fairytales are to be believed, their essence still runs through every living being, the language of their time passed down in names and magic spells.

According to the Sylvan Books "The Gods before our Times", the powers of those old gods might be used to wake any dead creature again.
