Anderson Anderson

Anderson Anderson is a Caver, grifter, and all-around lay-about that the Hawks first met in Ford. Anderson was leaving A.J.'s when he spotted Jericho sitting in the Hawk's truck. Mistaking him, as many do, for Elmond, Anderson ran, stole a cart truck, and high-tailed it out of down into the setting sun.
After surviving the Ley Line Storm, the Hawks find Anderson's stolen truck crashed against a tree with Anderson nowhere in sight. The party tracked Anderson across a wide grassy expanse and into a wooded hill where Anderson takes a shot at them. After some negotiating, Anderson agrees to letting them up the hill and helping him with his bruised and battered leg. He connived a ride-along with the Hawks back to Ford, seeing as that the Line Storm made the road west impassible. 
Back in Ford, Patch finds that Anderson was rummaging around in the passenger compartment of the truck, but he can't prove it. Anderson continued to hitch along with the Hawks as they drive back to the Line Cut with the repair crew from Ford. He is left along with the truck in a tent while the Hawks go north to map out the new Cut. 
When they return, Anderson is missing once again. He was obviously living in the tent for a while, as the tent was a mess and items moved around and used from the truck. An unknown observer is seen watching the tent when the party returns, but he quickly leaves. Jericho and Patch track him back to a tent in Aber's side of the camp, back near the mess tent. Jericho, with all the subtly of a bull at a tea party, barges his way into the tent, walking right into the Shake Stick of Pigsty Pete. After a fast and dirty fight in the tent entrance, the Hawks kill Pete and find Anderson tied up on the floor. Dragging him back to Hawks' camp, the party get the full story (or did they??) from Anderson. The presence of Jane Jilljack completed unnerved him and he wants nothing more than to put as many miles as he can between him and the camp. As he walked out of the tent, though, it exploded in a ball of flame. That was the last the Hawks' saw of Anderson. When the smoke and the flames cleared, Anderson was no where to be seen...
