Terraxian Rite of Passage
The Terraxians have a rite of passage that can be completed at any age, and a Terraxian cannot gain full citizenship until this rite is achieved. The rite goes that to achieve true Terraxian status, they must serve both T'er and Rax with one particular action. During the time of NTSAP this came to be warped and misinterpreted to the point where Terraxians began stating the rite of passage is to forge your own weapon from the bones of a slave. This was interpreted as the slaves were gained by war and worked the field, praising both T’er and Rax and giving the Terraxian a weapon. If this rite was never completed the Terraxian would only retain partial citizenship, and be shunned by all of their people, including friends and family.
Participants
Depending on the Terraxian, the rite will be attended by only an officiant from the T'er-Raxian Church and chosen friends or family who wish to attend. Rites performed by Terraxian nobility are often broadcasted, either by a WatchBox or in the days or yore, in a form of arena.
