Mircosi
Basic Information
Anatomy
Mircosi are a humanoid species looking similar to a human-sized mole. They are covered in brown fur with a large white patch of fur on their lower torso, or sometimes as a stripe going vertically through their body. They have two arms and two legs with hands and feet designed for digging.
Biological Traits
They can grow up to anywhere between 5 ½ to 6 feet tall and are mammalian omnivores
Growth Rate & Stages
They are marsupials with the first stages of their young growing in small pouches on their lower torsos, only found on females. They begin without fur but by the time they leave the pouch they have developed it.
Ecology and Habitats
Mircosi are best suited for caves and tunnels, and the underground in general.
Dietary Needs and Habits
They mainly feed on plants such as fern-like and grass-like plants.
Biological Cycle
During the dry season Mircosi prefer to remain indoor or underground and farm crops suited for their caves, as above-ground crops are ill-suited for Feren.
Additional Information
Social Structure
Microsi can be found in societies structured in either kingdoms or tribes.
Facial characteristics
They have forward facing eyes with eyes facing almost diagonally. They have a snout with teeth designed for eating ferns and bushes. Their ears are pointed and placed on the tops of their heads, allowing them to hear above ground without poking their heads out of their holes.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Mircos are the dominant species on the north continents of Circos.
Average Intelligence
The smartest and most ingenious of the sapient species of Circos. They are experts in defense and protection but also in stability and structure, they are master engineers.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Mircosi have weak eyesight and strong hearing as they are evolved for tunnels and caves.
Civilization and Culture
Average Technological Level
They are mainly tribal across the continents but there are a few that are developed enough to have countries in the form of kingdoms.
History
They originated as an underground dwelling species but in recent centuries have ventured to life on the surface, with most cities and towns still being at least half submerged beneath the surface.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
The main species they have to look out for are Ninjos, Crones (if they travel too far north) and all the major large predators.
