Teaching others
Due to player interest, I am opening the door of players to both teach and learn an additional secondary skill.
Requirements/ conditions:
1. A teacher must be selected and determined to be knowledgeable in the content being taught. For percentage skills the teacher must be at 50% proficiency or more. For skills such as WP that lack percentages, the teacher must have had the skill for at least 3 levels.
2. Only 1 skill can be gained this way per level. This skill does not count against secondary skills gained per level up.
3. Time must be invested either in games or in aside devoted to the teaching of the skill (meaning there needs to be some role-play interaction not just "John taught be nuclear physics over the weekend.")
4. A teacher can attempt to teach multiple students and multiple applicable skills. However, time investment may get in the way of other downtime activities.
5. The skill is gained upon reaching a level milestone demonstrating you have gained sufficient experience to gain an understanding in the skill. The level up need not be a level you would naturally gain secondary skills.
6. The skill is considered a secondary skill gaining bonuses equivalent to learning a new secondary skill. It benefits from any I.Q. bonus but gains no education bonus.
7. Some skills due to their nature might not be able to be taught this way. However, some skills not regularly available to learn as secondary skills may be available.
8. I must be notified of the training prior to it occurring. One of the ways this can be done is by mentioning it on the End of Game sheet question pertaining to downtime.
