The Gap

A series of deep ravines within a verdant plane, rivers from Mount Varaam flow into these cuts in great waterfalls forming underground rivers that flow into mystery. A small town has been settled on the edge, which is named for the ravine.

The underground rivers appear to dive deep into the ground, flowing north-east. A series of tunnels follow these rivers though all attempts to explore and map them have failed due to the incredibly hostile native ecosystem.

Those who survive the expeditions swear that they were attacked by humanoid creatures wearing masks riding giant, venomous spiders...
