Stockcross Stockpile

One of the oldest shops in Stockcross they claim to be located on, and decended from, the original storekeeps who settled here. Here you can find items for everyday use.
The Stockpile is run by Tomas Understone, a tall, broad and stoic Earth Genasi. His skin is grey and hard, his hair is crystaline and refracts light into a rainbow prism. The building is comprised of two levels, a lower space filled with everyday essentials and an upper section with more unique items. The counter is located at the rear of the lower level and is horseshoed in shape comprised of light wood and a stone countertop of granite. The interior is lit by brass sconces that contain perpetual flames and Lightrocks. 
On sunny days the store is filled with natural light from a glass dome that illuminates above the counter and is made from coloured glass. A tradition in the store since its founding is for the owner to keep birds in the store. Originally these birds were falcons or hawks to keep rodents away, though in modern times this has shifted to exotic birds such as parrots. Tomas, the current owner, has two birds in the store that swoop at visitors: Bastard, a vicious ablino magpie that attacks at random, and Fluvia, a giant raven. Fluvia often calls Tomas's name in different voices to confuse him.
