Ensear's victory over Zariel and claiming of the Archdevil title.
With no other options, Zariel chose to engage Ensear in direct combat rather than lose further legions. While she knew she would likely lose, she chose to relinquish her status through a duel. While far weaker, zariel was an exceptional sword fighter and held her own against the deity for well over ten minutes, but Ensear's unrelenting attacks and prowess pushed through, wounding her many times before she could no longer hold her own. When Zariel could hold her own no longer, ensear drove her weapon into the Archdevil, taking flight and raising her high as blood sprayed from her back, before driving her down inbto the ground in a burst of fire, smoke, and dirt. She held her defeated foe in place with her foot, pulled Scintill from her chest, and promptly strode past the onlooking army of devils directly to zariel's keep.
