Nessus, Ninth Layer of Hell
One observes no activity when scouring the surface of Nessus. It is cracked, rocky, and carved with deep fissures and pits. It lacks roads, bridges, or any other infrastructure that would suggest it is inhabited. In truth, it is, save one single exception: in one of the deepest pits in all of the planes, and certainly the deepest in nessus, is the the fortress of Asmodeus. This fortress' location is a closely-guarded secret, being known to only a two-dozen or so beings and accessible to even fewer still.
