They then take another 12 hours to recuperate before flying back to their home base with any mail that has possibly arrived while staying at the station. The swan maiden know that it is vital that no mail may fall into the wrong hands, and they have each taken an unbreakable oath to protect the mail they are trusted with their lives. When forced to a swan maiden will fight with a ferocity naturally befitting of her avian alter ego till the bitter end, a service very much accounted for in the pricing of the Swanmay Express.

History

The headquarters of the Swanmay Express are found inside of the Oroborian Empire, in the princedom of Orolay. The Swanmay Express was initially set up to quickly send letters from one side of the empire to the next, before the company slowly expanded to cover the entirety of Bataf. No one knows who rules the Swanmay Express. Some believe it to be a shrewd business family, others believe it is a powerful druid able to teach people a lesser form of wildshape, and then there are those who believe that the company was secretly set up by princess Veridi herself. If the swan maiden themselves know they are sure to keep mute about it.
