Twilight War

At what would become the end of the Dawning Age, the gods of Bastion were at war. Some of the gods worked to usurp others of their power, while some worked to destroy the mortals of the world.
During the war the line between "good and evil" became blurred as many gods aligned with those they opposed to destroy another they both found to be a bigger threat.
At the end of the war the majority of the gods decreed that they would leave the mortal realm to its own devices, only influencing from beyond the Twilight Gate in which they would be sealed. The few gods that opposed this were sealed away by the others.
