Session 86: Animaesus and Tarrasques: Intimate Innards

General Summary

Three days go by, and the Mores of City Salt continue their split venture and preparations: the city will fall, but something will remain after the rise of the Tarrasque. The 1st House and the 6th House are wrapped up in the evacuation, but the 6th house is also leaving many troops from the militia behind. The 3rd House is using its underground transport to escape and sabotage resources from the city. The 4th House has escaped to the northern forests. The 5th House gathers iron, from within and without: they are planning things. The 7th House takes three days to dance and worship the awaking of the beast and the rise of the Great Black Dot. The 8th House goes to the Cynas lands. The 10th House seeks culprits of the 9th, the 4th, the 6th, and the 3rd, as battles and skirmishes arise in the undercity between those houses and the Mel's 12th House.

Amu spends much of his time handing out water to the people, created from his transmutations from the air, wilds about, perhaps even the blood of the beast. The 1st, 6th, and 3rd house have already begun to ration food and water, so this will help, but many more will have to fend for themselves. The little emotional support terrorist, Amu, does his due diligence for the people of the City of Salt.

Birdman awakes at the end of these three days, inside, perhaps, the colon of the beast. The shadow powers transported him here during his trance, for his own wish to gain further insight from the beast. Yet, when he awakes, he is adorned in a new raiment, something with tendrils and tentacles made of sinew and membranes of the innards of the beast. They move with him, protect him, allow him to attack, and are now one with him.

Tenebris prepares spells, simulacra, and himself for the revenge against the paladin of the ancients, Strass'eh. Pocket will bring him, perhaps even for a surprise.

Faurwiin is able to complete the cloning processes needed for his future aims and goals, get Thelas his own magical broom, and gain control over the tower. While traversing during those days, Faurwiin is lead by Eember, to dimensional portal, and door, but maybe also a deeper entrance into the spirits mind and soul. The treasure chest in the first room, the access to the beast's heart, the 11th Seal--Faurwiin now has access to this completely. The knowledge of the past, of the tarrasques; a bath full of blood for regeneration or even the creation of a flesh golem. The, a lich, an ancient Eldari from the times beyond, the times before the continents shifted. It brought Faurwiin here, for it is emprisoned by Eember and her father Boccob.
This ancient eleven lich, seeks a deal--knowledge it has, of times, and with that, Faurwiin can offer its freedom, as the new warden of this ancient tower. This Lord is given the decision: join Faurwiin, bend the knee and serve. It agrees, and with that Lord Nex is born, a new, but old, servant of the 11th House, who does not remember his name, nor much of his own purpose, but has access to ancient magics and beliefs.
Faurwiin continues upward into the tower, and here he finds examples of Eember's own attemps to fail at creating a new body. An armor, a fire in the center, the ability for her, the tower, to traverse outside. Then he finds the top floor of this venture, where the weave swirls in all colors.
He is given access to the tower, completely, and a set of powers beyond imagining, but he is also givne a link to remove the mantle of the tower from Eember, but he would have to take that mantle on himself. In so doing, the weight of the font, the weave the Boccob has transfered over here, may allow him to achieve wishes beyond measure. He chooses to release Eember, and in so doing, the tower's mantle passes to him.
Outside, after he blinks and finds himself back in his room, the tower and his sons inform him of the arrival of another crowd. Then four begin to rise up the winding path, and they come to meet with the 11th House Lord. A woman, red haired and angry, storms passed, and the dragons dive in. She freezes one with some unknown magic and then she bangs upon the iron, magical gates of the 11th House Tower. This enrages Tenebris and the sons of Faurwiin, and a stand off begins, but with magic mitigated, Lasi--who seems to have instigated the whole push form Karen of the 9th House and Clam of the 5th House--he escapes, and the group are able to come to an agreement as lead by Faurwiin. They will take care of Lasi, and help assert themselves, and even Alucard, as the next leaders of the city, or whatever is left after the beast awakes. There needs to be a sphere of influence, no matter the ending.

Birdman, awakes, yes, in the colon, and he tries to find a away out, or away to connect. And he finds, because of his new Raiment of the Innards, he is able to permeate through the beast, to the kidneys, with some kenku shadows leading him along the way. He falls, well communes, with the liquids within, forcing himself, the Raiment, to almost drown, but he cannot, for he is one with the beast, and amphibious at that. The beast wants the Sun, yes, and it will let Birdman take him there, but Birdman knows, the city is in shambles and the timing must be taken into account. He must then escape, so the Raiment lets him liquify through the beast, and escape though its urine.

Once outside, he finds Macinifex and his 7th House cult of the Great Black Dot. They claim and scream, bath in him, his vomit, and the Messiah known as the Birdman, the Shadow of the Beast, the Black Dot, but not the Black Dot. He, the Messiah, will bring the 2nd Expulsion, and the 7th House will bathe in that squalor.
