Session 30: Animaesus and Tarrasques: A New Face while the 12th House Falls
General Summary
The group is split, but carnage is wrought through Garvuld's fire fists and Ferrum's Flaming Bastardsword, through Mel's double-blade and dark bite, through Ssech's guile and dark arts, through Thelas' indignation and creation of friends he doesn't find before him.
Garvuld lays waste to undead ghouls and the demon master, and he and Ferrum with Thelas discover Latisha Libelle locked in the drow map room, alone. Through the crystalline windows they only communicate well enough to know that they do no seek help from each other. And the dwarf, warforged, and young elf-still disguised with Ssech's seeming spell as high ranking drow of the 12th House--move on, eventually flanking the remaining drow and few other demons that Mel and Ssech, with the help of Aether and the Triple Trochil, are engaged with.
Once they reconvene, the drow retreat to the rooms above, and now only spiral staircases lie between them and the matriarch of the drow of the 12th House of the City of Salt. She prepares and waits for them as they catch their breath. Dozens lie beneath them, and handfull now join Mel's small null squad, and Latisha fades into the etheral plane, joining them in their aims against the Matriarchy of the Drow of the Dark Mantle.
