Scallywags Session 12: Nothing's Ever Simple, is it? Consequences of Giantknapping, Repairs to the Call, 3 Days to Deal, Vampire Mansions

General Summary

It is the 12th of Light, mid morning, barely 11 am, and the group sits aboard the call after Ilknar's kidnapping. They need a few more days to gather supplies, finish repairs, and make sure the crew is stable before they can move on after the giant friend. Then, the Scallywags gather around Skiff's map after he navigates a likely course for the kidnappers. Thus, they begin work as Pojin Saenbibas continues to repair the ship.
They split, with Rognur, E'krae, and Skiff heading further in town back to Froum's Tailors to arrange deals for an ample amount of canvas to help repair sails for weeks to come. Skiff pays 15 gp for this, and he gives an additional 10 gp to get a Coulous (the second largest and independent family from the Knights of Ne and the Faces of the King) family signet ring as well. Froum says this should be done in a few days.
Aikhon and Brimstone head into the center part of the city, after Brimstone gest 60gp for the wights slain the night before Ilknar's kidnapping. The discern that they should head to the Cut of Open Ride of Feon, there to be the most likely place to find connections of their Dovah family line. First, Aikhon attempts some gambling with the locals, but the Cut only deals in unique , magical item trades; they do not deal with coins and gems. Thus, Aikhon bargains with alchemic ammunition, and he eventually wins a quartet of dwarven, runic stones. He then looks for other dragonborn to discuss with, and this leads him upstairs to a tall, plated dragonborn with silver armor and even more slivery scales. His shield is that of the Faces of the King, an older time though.
Meanwhile, Brimstone talks with the barkeep over how a blue-skinned and scaled man, named Finger?, came in a few days back, honestly, looking for someone of Brimstone's description.
Rognur, E'krae and Skiff decide to gain some information about the mansion that was mentioned earlier, one Scepsi Fla saw near to his cousins home he was staying at during their time in Feon so far. On their way their, and indeed before the dragon brothers head inside the Cut after their dealings with the undead skulls and the Knights of Ne, the Scallywags see a puff of dust and smoke in the sky, a flying creature falling and escaping from it.
Skiff and Rognur, with E'krae, soon see this as Scepsi how hobble and flies to them in warning of the house; he heard odd noises, and seeing that E'krae was so interested, he wanted to ensure it was safe for later tonight, but in so doing he awoke undead that were squatting inside, the party inevitably learns once they go inside. Skiff and Rognur go in and E'krae and Scepsi go to tell others and waylay the Knights of Ne before they lay claim over what has been abandoned by the previous owners.
Brimstone, back at the Cut, finds a lowly bum of Feon, and he convinces this man to go find the blue-skinned humanoid down at the docks as Scepsi arrives to inform the captain of the misfortune at the mansion. Brimstone goes to find his brother, and the owlkin returns to the mansion. During this, Aikhon has gone upstairs, and he finds himself in a game more of questions than gambling, learning the past of this silver dragon born, a soldier saved by his sister, and now one with greater purpose. Before he leaves he warns the captain to look out for his kin and himself. Brimstone witnesses these questions, and afterward, he leaves with his brother to the mansion Scepsi warned about.
They soon join a fight of life or death as Knights join with Skiff and Rognur and E'krae inside this mansion, where undead seeks to lay claim...
