Fort Eidolon
Fort Eidolon was once Kaer Eidolon, an abandoned kaer created by a group of dispossessed Elves from Wyrm Wood who had lost faith in the Queen’s ability to protect them, and decided to create their own kaer. They never completed it, and the half-finished ruins were discovered after the Scourge.
The spot they chose was at a strategically important junction between the Serpent and Mothingale Rivers. After the Scourge, the combined efforts of House Syrtis and the Blood Wood constructed a fort there to defend the Wood and the rest of the Serpent from the predations of House Ishkarat. The fort was manned by an equal number of troops from Blood Wood and the t’skrang house, and was unique in that it was the only military endeavor Queen Alachia was willing to support outside the Wood’s borders.

During the Iopan war the Fort held against the forces of House Ishkarat but was soon abandoned after the end of the war due to the persistent haunting.
