Onacona is an elder among the Ocasta clan, and one looked to for leadership. While standoffish and fiercely protective of the Cherokee people, he is wise and more human than most of his peers.

Personal history
Onacona, the White Owl, was born at a time of transition for his people, whether he realized it or not. Born at the turn of 1500, he would find himself Embraced by Wa Hu Hi, Owl, the Childe of Ocasta, Stonecoat himself. White Owl was chosen because he liked to wander the wilderness alone. He was a fierce hunter, but more, he was learned in the ways of medicine, and spent long hours learning under the Medicine Men. He never considered himself as such, but that did not matter to Wa Hu Hi. He found Onacona worthy, and thus Embraced him into the Blood of Stonecoat. It was not long after that Owl was slain by the Uktena.
Onacona was far from the home of the Ani-Yunwiya at the time, and he returned to a Nation reeling from the loss of one of its fiercest protectors. The white man, and the Ventrue, appeared soon after. Onacona dedicated his unlife to preserving the livlihood of his people. But he failed. He took the betrayal of the Ventrue especially personal, as he had pushed for good relations with the in the beginning, and in the modern nights he does everything he can to rekindle the flame of his people. There are so few Any-Yunwiya left; Onacona has hardened over time, come to see outsiders as purely the enemy. He seeks to Embrace new Ocasta, seeing his Bloodline as the one last hope for a resurgence for his people. He lives mainly in the wild, and very rarely comes to the city.
