Rasmodious "The First Sage"

A historical hero and first person in Baephios history to be titled "Sage" by the fourth King of the Vridium Empire. Rasmodious was born with a natural affinity for the arcane, and with not much known about magic at this time, Rasmodious was really just testing things out without knowing if they were actually good or not.   Rasmodious was a quiet child and never had any doubts or questions about his arcane powers. When he became of age he travelled the land of Baephios in search of a magic teacher. One day, on his travels, he came about a small Lizardfolk village in Zochakha. These Lizardfolk worshipped Bothos, god of the Stars. Luckily for Rasmodious his presence alone was enough for the village elders to know he was magically talented. However, with all that raw arcane power they thought of him a threat and attacked Rasmodious. Before any blood was shed one of the elders, Jaq'mekua the shaman of the village took Rasmodious under his own wing and taught him how to control and understand his arcane powers.   Rasmodious was a sorcerer, but his fondness for learning and eagerness to understand everything aided in him becoming a very successful student. He read the tomes this LizardFolk Village had 10 times over. Jaq'mekua was a simple sorcerer, who loved a good joke, and who taught Rasmodious all that he could. This resulted in Rasmodious to continue with his studies elsewhere. Passing through the Karst border he made his way into the Tunitor Kingdom (Now the Noclon Confederation). The land was new and fertile the woods full of wildlife even more than the present day.   Rasmodious took to the forests where he made his way to a small hut carved into a massive willow tree. There he met his second mentor Dana Cedarwillow a Firbolg Druid. She was a kind and thoughtful soul. Here he learned the ways of Mardros, goddess of Nature and how to harness the powers of the wildmother, how to bend the forest on a whim, and how to be one with himself and nature. Once Rasmodious felt the earth calling him to a new direction he set off East leading him into the Vaera Kingdom. Here he made his way to Nilabel the elven city.   Here was Rasmodious' final mentor, Elduin Magtoris. A tall, athletic male Elf Wizard. And a member of the Elven Council in Nilabel. Rasmodious became Elduin's first disciple and successor. Elduin was known for harsh lessons and being very strict with people. This was no different for Rasmodious. He was tormented day and night about his studies and learnings. Rasmodious struggled the most when learning from Elduin and it took him the most time to master wizardry. After a total of 7 years Rasmodious was finally recognized by Elduin and was considered a Wizard.   With this Rasmodious, at the youthful age of 30, had mastered Sorcery with Jaq'mekua, Druidry with Dana and finally Wizardry with Elduin. He was Baephios' first official Sage. Rasmodious spent the rest of his days back home working as the sage to King Jonathon Rigby IV in the Vridium Empire. A young King who took up the mantle after his father King Jonathan Rigby III went mad and passed away unexpectedly. Rasmodious is now long gone but his memory still lives on through the multiple magic schools he has started all over Baltharos. Namly the Rasmodan Magic Academy as well as the Scrolls Bound Academy in Old Nineveh.
