Frozen Plains

The Northern Plains of the Vridium Empire used to be a beautiful place full of grasslands and mountains. This was until a group of adventurers decided to viciously burn and torture innocent rats in a cave hundreds of years ago. This made the gods furious and cursed the Vridium Empire to an eventual frozen grave.
The curse has been in place for about 230 years. Ever so slowly the ice continues to grow. The land becomes less fertile, less wildlife, and new threats. The former King, King Jonathan Rigby VII, has devoted his time left alive to trying to figure out a cure to this curse. There are multiple rewards and requests out for anyone who has any important information on celestial/divine power and how to gain favor with the gods.
