Charles, Death Monarch

Charles the Death Monarch is actually a vessel of Khabris god of Death. Charles was a simple necromancer with the goal to figure out a way to bring his beloved pet crow, William. Charles is a kind and understanding individual with complex reasoning and thoughts. Charles is very intellegent, but also depressing. He was unsuccessful in bringing back William so he begged Khabris to make it so he and William can see each other again. This is how Charles became a vessel of Khabris.
According to Legend Charles likes to live in the forests around the Viridium Empire helping animals and lost children in the forest. The legends told of a creature of Death reign supreme as many adventurers travel to these forests to slay Charles. It is a lonely life for Charles as he has nothing but the spirit of William that will visit him once a year, if Charles does his job correctly that is.
There are no stories or records of anyone being vessels of Charles and if there were ones who were, they got eliminated quickly.
