The Stormholt Homestead
The search for information pertaining to the ancient dwarven settlements, and in particular the forgotten Stormholt Homestead is the primary reason the Stormholt brothers have journeyed to far north and out of their current homelands. Driven by a their burgeoning powers, and the relationship they have unwittingly developed to an earstwhile ancestral god, one Gorthak the Thunder Boar, the brothers have stumbled upon some fairly disconcerting evidence.
Perhaps Gorthak is not a dwarven deity at all?
Perhaps there is a relationship between their ancestors and the old human settlers (the Rova) which once dwelt in these lands?
Perhaps this "deity" represents something different than either brother currently knows or believes?
Perhaps other peoples have co-opted or taken up the worship of Gothak (the White Tusk Raider Orcs)?
Perhaps the rift between the Stormholt Clan and the other dwarven clans is an older and deeper rift than was originally thought?
All of these questions need answers, and the evidence thus far is surprising, and disconcerting.
