St Albanash of the Ancient Fig

Saint Albanash Al'Donte (a.k.a. The Forgotten Saint. The Ancient Figtree. The White Preacher.)

St Albanash was a saint of little modern repute, who preached a worldview grounded in the tenets of redemption, pacifism, and reform. He taught amongst the Drefunila peoples in Silesia. He is from port city of Qalas originally, and began his ministry as a friar at the conclave of the Icon of Balsitara in the Sanvidaar hills southeast of the city. His ministry eventually took him north to Pic Tursqana where he developed a large following, before he took it upon himself to go out into the Shalasim to teach his model of life to the desert tribes. Unfortunately, it was at the hands of one of these tribes where he met his end. He was beheaded by the Rep'tirasta tribe for "sowing dishonour among the youth of their tribe," and was subsequently granted sainthood by the Silesian god Talo. His followers built a church in his name which continued his traditions and found some purchase in the Silesian religious order before falling out of favor in the Bundin wars of the mid third century, at which point his worship slowly fell into obscurity.
