Koloya
Ruled by Boyar Taisa Koloskiy of House Koloskiy.
Koloya is a rugged frontier village on the edge of the Great Grass Sea, situated in the northern frontier of the Kingdom of Palischuk. Governed by Boyar Taisa Koloskiy, a former serf who rose to power during the Palischuk Schism, Koloya is known for its strong Cossack heritage and horse breeding. The village serves as a vital stop for trade between the steppes of the Cossack Hosts and the Kingdom of Palischuk. Its stables are famous for producing sturdy horses prized across the Kingdom and even in distant lands like the Kingdom of Soravia.
Koloya is a hardy community with a blacksmith, carpenter, North Star Inn, and a few farms growing wheat and beets. The Pravdan Church of Saint Stepan, led by Father Arkady, is a spiritual hub for the village. The village has a close-knit population that relies heavily on one another for survival in the harsh Vaasan winters. The people of Koloya are fiercely independent, but the looming threat of the Dranja Confederacy, raiders, and the Rossodnoye Cossack Host always weighs on them.
