Dragon's Tooth

A sharp-edged, luminescent diamond with a black pit. Said to be the tooth of a crystal dragon.
Long ago, dragons were enslaved by giants to dig pits into the depths of the earth. Natural catalysts to magic, some dragons turned into precious gems, crystal teeth strong enough to break the chains that imprisoned them.
It burns and smells thickly of iron.
